Default Oxygen Sensor - Heating Circuit Malfunction B1 S2 - Help!

Ok, So i know this means that my o2 sensor is bad, the one on the passenger side after the Cat. I have the VAG-COM software Vag Tool. I was just told that I had to fix this by getting the AUDI part and not a Universal because the Universal (about 1/3rd the price) would not turn my check engine light off. I have a couple of questions: Every time I clear the code for the engine light, it pops back on in no time, Is there a way to use the VAG-COM program and to get the OBDII to ignore this fault in the future so I can turn off the engine light for good, relating to this problem? Also, has anyone used Universal o2 sensors, and are they junk?

Thank you all

Default until you fix the problem, the CEL will appear, you can try to reset it but if the

fault is bad enough to throw a code it will just reappear in a day or so. FYI, check ECs or impexfap for the o2 sensor you need, both are cheaper than the dealer.

Default I used bosch part#13275 (around $40 from autozone) on my 99 2.8..

I used them pre-cat and they work fine and passed PA state emissions testing. They are 4-wire dome style sensors and just needed to be spliced and soldered to the oem connectors.
Originally got the cheap VW sensors that work in some of the 1.8s but they threw a code. They are also not dome-shaped.
Before replacing the sensors I would get the CEL about every 2-3 weeks after clearing the codes. Now everything is OK.
NOTE: I have the 99 2.8 30V that has the 4 wire setup for all the O2's. IIRC yours has 3 wire fronts and 4 wire post-cat. Check my pictposter for a picture of the OEM and VW sensor difference. (i don't have a picture of the ones that actually worked though>>part 13275.)
