Oxygenated gas w/ 2.8
Ok, I've looked at lots of stuff re. problems using oxygenated gas with the 1.8T. But my 2.8 hesitates and shows the MIL (check engine light) from time to time and it correlates with where I'm buying gas and with altitude. Anybody else have an oxygenated gas problem with the V6?

Is your engine totally stock? No hot chip or anything? My local (Scotts Valley, CA) 76 station sells ethanol blended fuel and it runs fine, so I figured it's MTBE that causes problems. But not every 76 station treats me right and they're supposed to be all ethanol these days. What's your experience with MTBE? Where do you live?
