Default Hey Roger, Q was asking for pic of the pins installed (w/ hood open to see pin placement in radiator

support). I was trying to print a picture or two of the pin placement for the body shop (they are installing them hopefully as I type this).

I used steve_Ag Arrow's pictures (the two he just posted and one other) (thank you for the pic and posting it now!) but was looking for someone that went straight through the radiator support (as opposed to using metal brackets and pushing pins back 2-3 inches as steve did) --> nothing against this idea, as its obviously stronger, but more complicated than my needs demand. I do plan on getting a metal bracket to reinforce once I get it back from the shop (since rad support isnt that strong right?!).

I used a few of your (Roger) pictures as well showing the aerocatch things in the actual hood (as I like your placement).

I was able to draw on steve's pictures w/ perm marker where I want mine located (basically 2-3 inches forward and 1/2-1 inch further out towards fenders.

Default Are you keeping the factory latch?

I got rid of mine, so I located the latches where they should be able to support the most force against the hood equally. If you ended up mounting them that far out by the fenders you might have some problems with the middle section lifting?

Default I kept the factory latch, that said, I wanted them about as far out as possible. Just picked it up,

I'm happy. Not exactly as I wanted it, but I think I like the way they did it better maybe. Having trouble with my computer and need to get new bigger card for digi camera and will take some pictures and post them up in a few days hopefully.

I would think its unrelated, but all of a sudden my central locking unit started going bonkers (lock unlock while i was driving, car sitting turned off). I was thinking maybe they hit somethig and it shorted, but there really isnt much of anything for them to hit...

Or maybe the signal going from hood latch to system.

But would that cause lock to go up/down??
