4-piston boxster calipers amply a more equal force so stoppping power is greatly improved...slotted
rotors don't do much to help. Just stick with plain and a good set of pads like Hawk HPS. Several of us have upgraded the rears to 255 using an C5/A6 rotor and B6/A4 carrier. This helps and is cheaper than going the S4 255 rear approach. You don't get vented rotors, but typically rears don't overheat as much either.
