Paint Pealing off???
I noticed paint pealing off my 98.5 on corner of one of the doors..does look like anybody dented it. More like somebody put acid on there. anyone with similar problem?? is coverd under Warranty??

if you go to your dealer and persuade them that nobody has done anything to your car and that the paint is defective, i'm sure it can be covered under warranty, but if someone dented it- that's another story.

I bet that door is a repaint....and you just didn't know about it...
It could have been damaged in transport, and they had the door resprayed. OEM paint would NEVER do that, the painting process that the Germans use is too percise and thorough for that to happen.

You never saw the roof of my old Avant..
If you did you'd not make comments like that about the German's paint process again. All around the antenna it loked like they mixed paint colors! Regional service rep came to look at it too!
