I noticed when ordering my 00' 2.8QMCSX that the silver paint is now called light silver (i think)
The older models were offered in aluminum (i think)..
anyway is this just a change in the name of the paint or is it a different color?
if the color is different, is it lighter or darker, more metalic, etc.?

99.5 models on have light silver w/less blue hue in the color compared to aluminum silver

Peter's correct, it's most noticeable when the 2 colors are next to each other
