i finally found some time to do this, but i still only had time for the front two. at least it came out really good, much better than i thought brush on paint could do. however it did come in a kit, which i got for 20 bucks at canadian tire, so it should be good anyways.
the other day i saw vht caliper spray paint for cheap, so i got one, thinking it would give me a smoother coat then normal paint. but after test spraying it on some boxes, i found that it was hard to control, and that itd be too much trouble to protect everything from overspray.
so i went ahead with the paint kit and brushed on 3 coats for each caliper. i think about 80% of the paint was left over, and 3 coats was more than enough. all in all, it looks great, and i have enough paint left for my rears, and probably another 10 cars!
i just think if i spent more time sanding and cleaning the caliper, it would have come out even smoother, and might last longer.

So I guess I will be doing mine when I have time... and when I figure out how to jack my car up (I destroyed the jack point on the right).

i used stands to hold up the whole front end of the car so i could work on both calipers at once, but after i jacked it up the first time, i forgot to loosen the lugnuts!! i tried with the wheels in the air, but they just kept turning!! the whole process of letting the car down and up again took way more time than painting.
