Panasonic Cd changer
I own a 98.5 a4. Will a panasonic cd changer (601, 608, 88) fit in an Audi Cd kit? Also what is the difference between a 608 and an 88? Im thinking about buying one b/c i would prefer to have it mounted on the side of the trunk in a factory cd kit box.

The CXdp-88 is an 8 disc changer
The cxdp-601 is a 6 disc changer
The cxdp-610 is a newever version of the 6 disc changer (the newer model of the 601)
haven't heard of a cxdp-608.
The 8 disc is actually smaller than the 6 disk. I believe the 6 disc will fit in the bracket directly. The 8 disk will not. Either case, it will probably be easier to take out the entire bracket anyway.
I have the 8 disc working in the symphony head unit. You'll need an adapter cable as well.
