mk4=audi?

I posted this in the Audio (and A6)forum, but nobody has had any suggestions...

Well, I'm out of ideas on this and I've STFA...

I have an '00 A6 2.7T. I am trying to put a changer in. I have the PIE adapter, plugged into the factory DIN changer plug and properly grounded.

The head unit sees the changer, cycles through all of the discs, then returns a "NO CD" message. I have reset the changer, placed the CDs in the tray both "right side up and upside down" and nothing... The tray ejects fine, the unit appears to be fully operational, just no recognition of the CDs...

Any help? Please?

Hopefully you're not putting CD-RWs in there. Maybe the changer is faulty.

Nope, pressed CDs... everything looks/sounds to be working, but "NO CD"

time for a new one (and don't bother with getting it fixed, laser assembles tend to be silly for cost).
