Default i've never seen this so called shock on my 97 or either of the 98s.
all they have is the two guides on the side.

thank ya- im assuming 99.5 + is where this shock starts? (buying from guy parting 99.5)

vin break somewhere in 99.5 ... My 99.5 has the roller style. (not a spare part as near as I can tell)

copy of ETKA also shows it as not only available in MY 99.5 and not before, but as the only version for 99.5 However, fact is my 99.5 car has the 99 and earlier style of glove box ...

B6/7 glove box doors are the suck.
