Default Part II of my shuttering/stuttering under WOT...

Two weeks ago i replaced the 710N valve. The problem is still around.
Today took a trip to my dealership and got the following parts.
Mas air flow meter...$61.20
Temp sender 18.54
Spark plugs 7.26(ouch)101-000-051-AA. My parts guy and I had a little problem with the spark plugs. Quattrofrog u around??? My AEB engine came with Bosch Tri-electro plugs. I have been replacing them with the same ones. Today my parts guy hands me the NGK's part # 101-000-063-AA??? His ETKA was showing these under my car. However, when doing a search...we found that the bosch plugs are called for 98-01 passat or 97-98 audi??? what gives here. I got the bosch, anyone wanna tell something??
Ok...so, tomorrow I'm gonna install these 3 parts and see if this problem goes away..
Ohhh...one more Question when replacing the temp sender...I'm i gonna have to bleed the cooling system...or any other wooes i need to know?

Thanks
DG

Default Just make sure the engine is cold when changing the temp sensor...

no need to bleed. Just top off whatever coolant you lose (maybe a cups worth).

My 99.5 also used the tri-electrode Bosch. Audi switched it up on newer models.

Default

leaving the cap on the coolant reservoir limits the amount of coolant lost

Default that too, but you still get a mini geyser when you pop the sensor out...

have you logged the car? Is the stuttering misfires? I've replaced 2 coilpacks on my 99.5

Default No....i don't have a vag.....so, i'm taking shots in the dark

About bad coil packs, I though them things work or they die on the spot. My stuttering/misfire only occurs when in mid RPM's around 3000 and in 5th gear...IF i go WOT that's when it stutters. If im at stop and i go WOT and through the gears i don't get the stuttering.

Default Not necessarily...

Silver streakin had a coilpack go bad...it would misfire badly if he got on it, but if he drove granny style (he can't), it was fine.

The rubber boots over the spark plugs can deteriorate over time...if you haven't replaced those yet, you can try that. They are cheap enough.

Default That sounds like clutch to me....

I had misfires under high load, turned out to be a coilpack.

Default let me continue on the clutch...

our clutches tend to "skip" is what I would call it. Worst case situation is 5th gear at low rpms. Max torque, with max gearing puts a lot of load through the clutch. Mine did what you described before i swapped it out.

My turbo actually "pulsed" as it happened because engine load essentially dropped. Again didnt get the usual slipping and increase in rpms, it just "skipped"
