Default Boostd sure liked the upgrade. He had chatter at first and when he plugged on a fuel filter his VDO

went into slow mo .. His post on the upgade to the Omori seemed to indicate he was a happy camper.

My VDO works perfectly fine. ITs also rather accurate.

Default Matt I now have the electrical Omori 45mm gauge in my AWE vent, I previously had the mechanical ver

and the electrical version is very impressive, first up my mechanical only went to 25psi, now the electrical one goes to 2.5 bar so its range of accuracy would be much improved, it lights up better (red lighting) and the gauge moves really smoothly and looks good...plus no more vac tubes coming into my dash...

Default FWIW .. you can buy after market red bulbs for the VDO .. they match perfectly. Got mine at Radio

Shack IIRC.

Default my vdo came w/ the red condom....

what i think colin meant was that it illuminates better. i remember after putting in markbradford's gauge, we used the cover, and it didnt illuminate very brightly.

Default Mine also came with the red condom .. green as well .. the red bulb illuminates more brightly than

the white w/ condom. The red bulb is a dead match whereas I found the red condom to have a pink cast.

Default i never used the covers, just the white bulb it came with.

it looks okay, but has a yellow hue to it instead of white.
