Are the PES and APR kits reliable? They are really tempting me away from K04...

I'm not going the comparison route here but your post left the impression that other than the
GT 25 the other components might be less than top notch.
All the components in APR's kit are top drawer. Not just the GT-25.... The Iconel exhaust manifold is a work of art. ARP studs are used in the manifold to turbo connection and in the turbo to high flow cat flange. APR supplies ~$20 (list) per NGK plugs along with up-sized SS oil supply and drain line assemblies. They also supply a custom, APR cast, indexed, aluminum intake horn. The supplied high flow cat (first one sucked)is a very nice piece. They also supply; copper nuts and new washers for attaching the manifold to the head, turbo to the manifold and the high flow cat to the turbo outlet (obviating the need to reuse any of the lower quality OEM nuts); a custom, APR cast, heavy walled, urethane intake hose and a Samco manufactured, turbo compressor outlet hose. Even the SS clamps supplied are first rate (none of those puny heater hose type clamps). The supplied injectors are Bosche pieces.
None of the APR kit components are sub-standard.

whatever you can get would be great. Did you get my email?
You said you were including a non DBW ECU and both chips right? When are you getting your manifold back? I have 2200 right now considering that I sell my KO4 for 1700. I'll have another 300 in the next couple of days. IT shouldn't be too long until I've got it all. Do you have the installation CD that PES provides?
thanks,

So far so good with APR...25,000+ miles and flawless
i put it in at around 10,000 miles and i'm about about 38,000 miles. So its still a pretty new engine I'm hoping to see 80,000 out of this car. I've had no problems so far.
