I have seen PLENTY of tip tranmission (even the honorable level 10 upgraded ones)...

get grenaded from the power of the T28 kit. I wouldnt do it if you paid me...no matter what anyone on the internet wants to tell you.

To me, the whole thing seems hit or miss with Tips blowing up. I'm going to take my chances

because the car has 90,000 miles on it anyway. If the transmission goes on me, I'm prepared to replace it with a more upgraded one. If it lasts, great. I'm really not very hard on my car at all. Most of the miles I put on are highway and I don't track or run my car hard. I just really enjoy that occasional stab of the throttle to put a smile on my face.

doesnt he have a bigger turbo now?

yeah sold it.. bigger turbo and internal work coming soon... with OEM tip tranny

he said he will just replace it when it blows.

Well...its been my experience that the majority with BT power...

either blow up or run like ***. If I had a TIP the first thing I would do is convert to stick. Maybe id do a KO4 with the level 10 upgrade...but with a T28 id convert and I wouldnt even think about going 2 litre....just doesnt make any sense.
