Today, for the second time in the last few weeks, I stopped by PES to talk about modifying Audis. Duh - that doesn't sound like too much to ask, considering they're supposedly a top Audi tuner, right? I was soooo close to pulling the trigger on their T28 kit & now I'm having 2nd thoughts on them altogether. Granted, the first time I stopped by was a Saturday & they're technically not open for business. Their lot was full of modded Audis & people were milling about, so my buddy & I stopped in w/ his modded S4 to chat about their T28 kit (for me) & 3.0 SC development (for our other buddy). It was like pulling frickin' teeth. No one offered to crack open a hood on the TT or take us for a drive in the blown 2.8. I WANT TO SPEND $$$$ HERE PEOPLE... & so do the rest of us!
Whelp, today we gave it another shot - a 2nd chance. This time, w/ my other buddy & his BRAND NEW '02 3.0 Avant - Dolphin, Onyx, sport, 220hp, 6sp., etc. Coming from a '00 M5, he wants a blower & he's ready to spend $$$$ to do it. After multiple **** poor excuses for answers regarding everything from current exhaust system availability & shift kits to when their 3.0 & 4.2 blowers will be ready (this fall or next spring - not even close to what their site says), we went outside to take a walk into their shop. "Nope - can't go in there." Excuse me?!? If I'm willing & able to spend money in your shop, I'm gonna' check it out if I want to... & you're gonna' happily walk me through it. Not only that, but as we stood next to a certain representative of PES, hoping for some more personal service, he & another guy slowly & quietly walked back into the shop, ignoring us as if to say "Get lost".
Apparently, to get attention at PES, one must walk in w/ an AmEx card stuck to their forhead & a brick of cash under their arm. First impressions mean everything, especially in this business of hi-dollar expenditures. Nice goin' PES. I will spend my $$$$ elsewhere... as will the rest of us. Very disappointing.

This site is far nicer than those behind it.

so the first time you went there, you were mad about the fact that you didn't get service when they were closed... which you admitted to be true...
THEN you went in to buy parts that aren't done yet for a car that JUST came out and you were mad that what, they didn't sit you down at an autoCAD box to work on it?
THEN you got mad that they wounld let 2 random guys wander through their work area? Not to mention the likelihood that they are ALLOWED to let you back there due to insurance regulations...
Based on your post, I would wager you aren't much over 23, so I can understand their reactions, or, in this case, the fact that they really didn't do anything one way or another for you... and they didn't sell you stuff they don't have?
....yeah

im not gonna say whether you're lying or not...so dont get me wrong....but lemme tell you...i told PES there was NO WAY i could go in on a weekday to do my install...because I work M-F. The PES gang lost one of their saturdays to allow me to bring my car in. While I was there, they asked me if I had any questions....showed me some of their equipment...showed me their new trailer etc etc....Tony also called the car rental place for me and we even worked out a really good deal on the rental...and if you look a couple posts down....they are sending me updates without me asking for them.....so im sorry you felt you had a bad experience there....but mine was great.
