The group arrived at Road Atlanta around 9am today. We got to watch Galati win the Speedvision World Challenge (Cunningham's NSX finished 2nd) this afternoon. To Camaro SS's dismay the Firebird finished last, several laps back Later the prototypes did some test laps, and the Panoz LMPs were lighting it UP; they looked very strong compared to last year...the #78 R8 was not running the track full-throttle. The Champion R8 looked strong as well.

We invaded the BMW corral with our Audi Sport flag-equipped rental golf cart, and there have been many, many spilled-beer incidents. There will be more tomorrow I'm sure.

The weather is great for racing, and tomorrow's forecast calls for cooler temps in the low 60s. The race begins at noon EST....tune in on Speedvision for live coverage for all ten hours of racing!
