'00 Ebony Pearl/Onyx L'tte - manual/convenience/cold weather/sport steering wheel. It took 4 months, but I finally decided to take the plunge. Thanks for the words of encouragement/advice and guiding me through to this point. I thought about a few mods, but I'm not going to worry about them for now...I just want to get my new sweetheart home and enjoy for a while. Who needs a girlfriend anyway???
I'm in the biggest city in Iowa and I see an A4 literally about once a week on avarage. I used to, that is, until someone here at work purchased one this week. Funny... there are very few A4s here, but I think we just doubled the density with the recent purchases.
I went through Priceline (which I do for just about everything nowadays) and was impressed yet again. Found a great price on exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately the local dealer couldn't match the offer (just over 1k > invoice). Unfortunate for the dealer, that is.
The car is 250 miles away, but instead of having it shipped, I'd already planned on going there for the weekend with a friend, so it all works out fine. I'll just make sure that I make sure to change rpms/speed and not push it too much on the way back.
Ready to join the madness...<p>KC
