Please distinguish Billiant Black, Volcano Black, and Ebony (black)?

1.) Brilliant black is the "plain" black ; no special effects , just black shiny paint.
2.) Volcano black is a metallic-type paint that has a visual texture to it ; it's actually more of a deep deep deep grey colour in my opinion. It looks like very dark granite to me.
3.) I think Ebony Pearl Effect is just a new name given to Volcano Black ; however someone here posted to the contrary, saying there is a subtle difference.

When it comes to Audi colors, you really have to see them in person (and in daylight) to see what they really look like. There's no way I can describe my Cashmere Grey A6 to people, they have to see it themselves. Depending on the quality of the light, it can seem purplish or light metallic brown but rarely grey.
