Please excuse my ignorance, but how can I tell if I have a 2001 or 2001.5...

Default Please excuse my ignorance, but how can I tell if I have a 2001 or 2001.5...
If the window sticker always says 2001? I have the sports package with 16" wheels and my car was built in Nov. 2000. I bought the car in March this year.

Default you've got it.. from the date that it was created and give or take time to ship it over...
November being almost at the end of a year.. they wouldn't call it a 2000.

If the sports package came with 16" wheels, it's a 2001.

Default do you have quattro? and is your sports package called 'celebration.. blah'??
if so, 2001.5, otherwise, nope..

Default I have an 01.5 with only 16's life sux huh...also the .5's have that front brace welded in under
the 2nd air dam

my understanding is that --
the quattro sport celebration package has 17" wheels.. and is a 2001.5

so.. i guess yours is a 2001.25? has all those things but no 17" wheel, I heard of someone else in that situation eariler..

Hehe... wouldn't go quite so far as to say life sux, but 17's w/ my sport pkg woulda been nice.
