Default PLEASE help.. Fuel pump problems.. help!

Ok, my car wouldnt start the other day, and after much diagnosis, I determined the fuel pump wasnt going on when I turned the key. So I checked the fuses, they were all ok. I put a tester on the fuel pump wires, and got around 3 or 4 volts with the key on. I then pulled the fuel pump fuse, and put direct 12v to it, and the fuel pump went on (audible). So i determined it was the relay, so i got a new one from audi, and it didnt help any. Now im at my wits end. Ive pulled the ecu and reset it, still doesnt work. So basically, the pump is getting power from the fuse panel back (determined by hooking up 12v) but somewhere before the fuse panel, the pump isnt working. Also- when the pump was hardwired with 12v, I tried starting, but it didnt fire, which made me think the injectors arent opening.. so whatever regulates power to the fuel pump im assuming is regulating power to the injectors. Any ideas? If ANYONE is in norcal with a VAG, Please please help me. I think it might be an ecu problem, but I need fellow audi members' help. thanks.

Default What did you add to the car?

Nothing. I was driving the car the other night, and it died at 3k rpms. I pulled over, and it was hard to start, but finally started. I then started it up the next morning no problem, then went to work. After work it would not start.. Im beginning to think it might be the apr chip. Visibally, it looks good, but i dont know. I need someone with a stock ecu or a vag to help me out with this.
