Default I was surprised at how nice the lighter wheel is in my car. Some folks have issues with idle

stability w/ a light weight wheel and the Stage 3's when the a/c is on but I don't seem to. I had an idle issue with the Stg III and the a/c on before I swapped to the lighter wheel but that seemed to have been obviated with a MotorVac cleaning. Perhaps it disappearing and my having the Motorvac done were coincedental but teh timing sure leads me to believe tehy were related.
The idle hunt and stumble were only present on a hot restart ... ambients above 85ish and the underhood temps WAY up there. It stabilized as soon as the intake path cooled closer to ambient but it was a pita. I had to heel toe just to keep the car running.

Default Well lets just say driver error. A little extra boost and a desire to get going fast one day =

smokin. The clutch could be slightly different too, who knows. I've heard of other guys smokin the clutch and not losing much material. *shrug* I want one for the stg 3 anyway.

Default One day? You'd have to do that every day for a month to tear up the clutch!

Have you resorted to living your life 1/4 mile at a time?
