I think they were used on European A8's.

Default I've read that +48 offset (S8 wheels) will make it very close on the inside

may rub part of the suspension. Also depends on the tire you use.

You could run 10mm spacers and they would be perfect!

Default now the hard part... $440/wheel that is probably pretty heavy. Can't be as bad as Avus wheels

but obviously heavier than 16s. I'd guess around 23-25lbs

Default Same here also and I have 3 and 4 , just repainted my Swings this week.

Used the Dupli-color NASCAR wheel paint in silver. Slightly darker than OE . I have the Wurth Paint for factory color but its only been good for touch-up ,not as durable. I did 2-3 coats of silver and 1-2 clear depending on how it went on . One guy at work wondered if I used my compressor. Pretty nice for spray can job . One person even wondered if I had new wheels. I'll post pictures after I clean / detail sometime.
