Default @16 on a slug bug, took one trip with my Dad nervously teaching from the passengers seat

for me to understand that "I will not stall". nothing like pressure to make you perform.
Keep practicing.
Try to avoid weird situations (pulling out into traffic, lights by steep hills) until you work up your confidence. Nothing worse than stalling while stopped on a steep hill....I still get chills remembering.

Default I was 21..had a 78 Corolla, took me a couple of days in flat Florida...no hills....

Later I had a Renault Fuego 5sp and lived in San Franscisco. The city streets and hills there were a blast to drive. You'll be fine in a couple of weeks. Don't be afraid to use that parking brake though..i used mine alot at first!

Default Half hour, in'82, 1982 Honda Accord, twelve yrs. old

It all becomes second nature once the friction point of the clutch is "programmed" in your brain. The distance out from the floor is the friction point. Remember it & you'll have no problems. Always wearing the same shoes, initially, may help.

Default I learned on my '78 CJ5 in about 2 days when I was 15....

Im 22 now and with my Audi in the shop Im back to driving the CJ again.
