for me to understand that "I will not stall". nothing like pressure to make you perform.
Keep practicing.
Try to avoid weird situations (pulling out into traffic, lights by steep hills) until you work up your confidence. Nothing worse than stalling while stopped on a steep hill....I still get chills remembering.

Later I had a Renault Fuego 5sp and lived in San Franscisco. The city streets and hills there were a blast to drive. You'll be fine in a couple of weeks. Don't be afraid to use that parking brake though..i used mine alot at first!

It all becomes second nature once the friction point of the clutch is "programmed" in your brain. The distance out from the floor is the friction point. Remember it & you'll have no problems. Always wearing the same shoes, initially, may help.
