I'm sorry, I guess my question was "does some tuner sell a T28 kit for an A4 1.8T?" or were you...
planning on running a stock ecu with this, or a standard 1-bar chip? And how does this thing mount up? stock fitment?

The T28 is used mainly in Nissan cars so I'd doubt it would just bolt on. There are tuners that can
obtain these turbos, not sure who/where yet. Hell this was a "if you had 10k to mod your car thing" I doubt I'll ever do it. as far as programming goes, prob use a boost controller =o) unless someone can program an ECU for more than 1bar of boost hehe.

and had a good all around "package". You can toss the intercooler since it won't be ready till ??? You already have 17" wheels/tires, so deduct that as well.
That puts you at a nice healthy amount. I assumed you meant $10k in parts, but I added in the shipping/tax/labor as people often forget to think about that.
