Default I wonder how that works though...

I recently figured out why OEM cats are so expensive, because they contain precious metals such as platinum. Because of its cost, I'd assume the Milltek has those in it. I'm not sure about the cheaper units though, obviously you can't buy the platinum for that cheap so they have to work different.

In the end, I guess, who cares as long as your car can pass emissions if your state requires it.

i found this thread, which explains it a bit...

Default don't know about the LaBree, but the TT is not that "HF"...

I think it's like 600 cells or something... I'd want no more than like 300 with a HFC.

Default I have ha dthe milltek and the labree

siting next to each other and the labree is better quality. The labree however did not fit into stock position so be prepared to play with your exhaust a bit. the milltek bolts right up and cost twice as much.

Default I am but bought a new GTI so I'm in the process of demodding to sell the car..

Stock cat began to rattle so I decided to go with the LaBree due to the price and hoping for a bit more flow. On my K-04 set up I noticed a bit stronger pull paired with a 2.5" cat-back as compared to the stock cat and the 2.5" cat-back. I purchased the 300 cell and I believe he offers a 400 cell also.

The craftsmanship is very nice, not sure about the catalyst materials pac1085 mentioned, but it did pass the strict CA emissions. If you are looking at bang for buck the LaBree really can't be touched.
