Default Maybe I'm just paranoid

But isn't the whole system (stabilizer bar, brackets, bushings) only as good as the weakest link? I'm not sure how much force is applied to all those parts, but since your bushings don't fit in the concave sections on the undercarriage, isn't there a chance the whole thing is now more wobbly than before?

I just wish there were PU bushings that would fit the OEM brackets.

Default Hard to say...

we had a big ice storm and a bunch of snow, so I haven't driven it since I installed the bushings, making a back-to-back comparison hard to do.

It's just one of the last few things left on my suspension list. I've already got CPP upper arms, and new lowers plus poly bushings. The sway bar bushings had 95k miles on them, so I figured it was due for replacement.

Default what's more likely to flex, the stock rubber bushings, or a metal plate?

I bet with some grinding, you could probably get these bushings to fit the stock brackets.

Default I am rubber, you are glue, but metal will bend. ;-)

I don't think you can grind the poly bushings without damaging them. They will rip if you break the skin.

Default Never felt like going that far...

It lasted over a year before squeaking...If I was going to drill and make a trench and what not, then I'd just replace them.
