Default Is it possible that the alarm to block the starter?

Can the alarm prevent starting the car? I mean, if alarm is oN, can the started be disbled?

Or the car should start no matter the state of the alarm?

Default if the alarm is active, the starter is disabled. even after the alarm self-resets

i took my car to an independent mechanic to replace my control arms and they could not figure out how to turn off the alarm (my key fob does not work.. i suspect my locking system is screwy.. i dont really care). the alarm eventually reset but they could not use the key to start. however a kick start got the car running, beware.
