Default Possible Boost Issues... Temperature related?

Is there a point where colder ambient temps begin to negatively effect performance?

All of my logic would say no, however I took my car out for a spin today... Its the coldest its been this season so I figured my car would be the quickest its been all season... Well I was wrong...

Car felt a little sluggish... I also noticed that the spooling of the turbo wasn't as audible as it normally is. So now I'm thinking I may be leaking boost or my DV might be toast. (710N 2 months old) I know you guys have fried your 710N's in shorter than that but I have a feeling I might be leaking boost from one of the hoses... I can hear a wierd pressure leaking type of sound sometimes... I dunno... All Ive got is a GIAC...

Would installing a boost guage be my best bet for dignosing this problem (if in fact it really is a problem)? I hope my turbo isn't on its way out... I've only been chipped for 2 months...

TIA

Default I used to have a boost guage...less boost in colder weather..b/c its colder..

I think I was running 14psi when it was mabye 25 outside. Usually run about 18psi. That maybe why your not hearing a spooling noise as loud as normal
