Default Possible causes of misfires on an ATW motor??

Plugs are new. I'm in the process of playing musical coil packs. If its not the coil packs, what else could it be?

2000, DBW, ATW motor.

Default did you gap the plugs? try reducing the gap a little?

are you getting misfires under wide open throttle or idle or both?

Default I didn't do the plugs, the shop did. Misfires....

at idle only at startup, and at 3/4 throttle around 3K rpms.

oh.. happened before and after replacing the plugs

Default Look at the spark plugs.

I had to replace the piece that attaches to the coil pack on my 99.5. The car would misfire under acceleration. I didn't figure it out until after I bought a new coil pack and saw the problem remain.
