Is it possible to order Audi Nav system parts to install yourself?
in earlier posts i saw you can buy the controling switch,
but what about the rest? (gps processor, antenna, connector to LCD and radio, etc)
it doesn't matter how hard it is to install, is it possible to buy the
parts somewhere?
i want a stock looking nav system without removing the symphony radio.

i've looked into it.
i'm assuming you were referring to my posts earlier.
It is a possibility, but i think the cost will be quite a bit more than a good aftermarket retrofit. I'd love a NAV system but don't like how small the screen is. I like to know what nearby streets i'm on rather than typing in a location all the time.
Larry V had a great suggestion in my previous post.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/568642.phtml">nav switch post</a></li></ul>

I agree...
it would be nice to be able to see the side streets...
but i am so reluctant to try and put in a new head unit,
i have yet to find a good do it yourself kit
i don't know what to do, decisions, decisions
