Default Possible Problem?

I have noticed that when I put my car in reverse and proceed to back up, I sometimes hear a single metallic clicking sound towards the front of my car. I've also noticed the same type of sound when I try to accelerate from normal cruising (ie 35mph). Is this a transmission problem? I have tip and I'm approaching 20K miles.

Exactly! I hear it most when I'm at a turn backing up.

Is it when you get on the brakes? Could be the pad moving in the caliper after you change rotation.
