Is it possible to put 8d0 920 980 Q in place of 8D0 920 980 C cluster?

I'm hoping the 'Q' might just be an upgraded versions when they added GPS...

Default My car is a '00, sorry about the wrong PNs I've corrected the other post (darn dyslexia)
I'm positive my '00 PN is 8d0 920 980 C and it appears the 8d0 920 980C is from a '01.

Default I don't know for sure if you could put a 980-QX cluster in, because there is a VIN
split and they changed something in the clusters. The split occured at F 8D-1-000 001 and contiunes onward from there.

I see no reason for it not to work IMO other than the odometer not having the correct mileage.

Default Yes. I have a 980Q that I bought checked and it worked. I used it to replace the 980C until I ...
I got the dealership to replace the original one under warranty.

Default Is there anywhere to look up what changes happened at what VINs?
I'm thinking there might be a note of feature changes, such as navigation was added.
