yeah, I'm all for nice tools but I'd rather focus the money elsewhere as long as time is the same, tool can be reused and no addition hassles are involved. Otherwise I buy the proper tool.

Case in point am I going to pay campy $1,100 for their headset press? No not even a few hundred dollars to Park tool as for about $17 dollars at the hardware store I "made" my own adjustable cup press. Could work for a lot of things really.

You might look around their catalog a bit as they have developed a number of other support bars(lighter, multiple legs, etc.). Sir Tools makes versions as well.
