Default Possible Scam, need Help

A man named Michael Richards has contacted me with regards to buying my car. I was wondering if this guy was a scammer or anyone knew of him because he sent me an email, see below, that seems a little suspicious but I wanted to do my homework before I get into it with him.

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME , EFFORT AND COOPERATION, PLS WE RECEIVED YOUR MAIL DATED 10TH MARCH, IN RESPECT OF OUR ENQUIRES ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU HAVE FOR SALE BUT WE HAVE A LITTLE QUESTIONS FOR YOU JUST TO BE ON A SAFE SIDE WHILE WE ARE DOING THIS TRANSACTION.
(1)WHAT IS YOUR FIRM PRICE?
(2) PLS CONFIRM YOUR VIN NUMBER?
(3)PLS ATTACH ATLEAST TWO RECENT PICS OF THE VEHICLE.
(4) WHY DO YOU WANT TO SELL THE CAR? I HOPE IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM.
(5)ANY ACCIDENT HISTORY?
MY WIFE WILL BE COMMUNICATING WITH YOU IN RESPECT OF THIS TRANSATION BECAUSE I WILL BE TRAVELLING FOR A CONFERENCE BY TOMORROW AND MIGHT NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO BE DISCUSSING WITH YOU IN DETAILS ON THIS.IT MIGHT NOT BE POSSIBLE FOR US TO COME AND LOOK AT THE VEHICLE AND TEST DRIVE BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF MY WIFE'S JOB AND MY ABSENCE.SHE WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENT FOR A PREPAID SHIPPER ONCE WE AGREE ON THE TERMS.ONCE EVERYTHING GOES WELL WITH THIS TRANSATION AS WE ARE PROPOSING,SHE WILL INSTRUCT THE SHIPPER WHEN PAYMENT HAS REACHED YOU TO COME FOR INSPECTION AND PICK-UP OF THE VEHICLE.
WE REALLY LIKES IT AND WANTS TO MAKE PURCHASE ASAP BEFORE MY RETURN.WE HAVE GONE THROUGH THE COMMENTS STATED IN YOUR AD. AND WE HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH ALL THAT.WE WILL ALSO LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE THE TITLE AND THE PRESENT LOCATION OF THE VEHICLE.
BEST REGARDS

If this sets off the sketch-o-meeter for anyone, let me know, I'm going to respond but I'm not doing anything unless I get a phone number. Thanks guys.

Default BTW here is the e-mail also if that helps.

advocate_rich@yahoo.com

The location and a lot of that info they asked for is already explained in the Autotrader ad so that is why I am so apprehensive.

Default Screams Golum . . . . . . [we likes it]

Dont tell them the present location of the vehicle, but tell them where they can meet you to pick it up. Krispy Kreeme or the local Wal Mart.

If they lose interest quick then you know they were scammers.

Dont tell them anything that could lead to your car getting stolen.

They know some of the info from the sale post but they aren't going to get near my car because its garaged and at an undisclosed location, not with me, so nobody is gonna even see this car unless they call me on the phone

Default Then I dont see this being a problem. If they cant get to the car without going through you . . .

Just make sure you have money in the account before you watch it drive away.
