power for radar detector..please respond asap

Default power for radar detector..please respond asap
I am hard wiring my 8500 and I am having trouble finding power that turns on with ignition so its not always on.

Would the sun roof be a good source I have the light taken out and can see all the wires fine.

What colors are power and where should i run the ground?

sunroof could work yes, but i ran my power off the fuse #27. check the tech section for the writeup

Default Remove the knee bolster, and get it from the thing labeled "75X".
or "X75"

If you don't know how to remove the knee bolster, use the search function.

Default ran mine off the fuse in tech section and custom mounted the remote....

Radar detector??? People still use them fraudulent things?? F.O.P card the best security=P
