And do it again in a week or two until your whole can is gone. Kinda a waste, but so is 1/2 can of CHF11S just sitting on the shelf.
A complete flush would mean disconnecting the return hose from the pump to the res and dumping the dirty fluid into a container as you crank it (spark plugs disconnected) and fill with clean fluid as you go until it runs out the other end clear.

Pentosin is the manufacturer for the Audi factory fluid part number G 002 000. The Audi 5000 up to the 1989 models used the Pentosin CHF 7.1. In 1989 they went to a Pentosin CHF 11S which is a synthetic version with an improved temperature range. You can buy it at the dealer for more just to have a bottle with the VW/Audi logo. Or you can get it elsewhere for less in its manufacturer bottle. I don't know what Pestone is. Your friend probably put the Pentosin 7.1 in a car that takes 11S. Ask the dealer, they will tell you it is Pentosin.

or instead of disconnecting the spark plugs just pull the fuel pump fuse. I did the power steering flush and pulled the fuel pump fuse...much easier and quicker than disconnecting the coilpacks.
