I made two posts in the last couple of days regarding Audi quality and and the "Audi vs. BMW" topic. I must say that the readers on this board came through as expected. I actually hold the A4 in very high regard. It is a fine automobile for a reasonable amount of money. Sorry if I offended anyone, but I wanted to test your brand loyalty. Unlike loyalty for most American brands, Audi owners at least have something to be loyal for. I drove a 1998 Ford Contour SVT for about 2 years before recently selling it due to quality concerns. It was an extremely fun, almost German, car to drive. It simply lacked the refinement and quality that most German cars have.

Anyways, I will hopefully be receiving my 2000 BMW 323Ci in the next two weeks, after a 3 month wait. The only reason I chose the BMW over the Audi was the look of the BMW. This is obviously personal preference, although it does make me laugh when people argue about which car looks better!

After some time reviewing the posts in this forum, it looks mature and informative, unlike the some other "unnamed" forums. Remember this...Audi owners and BMW owners have one main thing in common...we wait 3 or 4 months for our cars! Well, enough said. I look forward to seeing the next Audi on the road, and I promise I will not flick you off or give you the ugly look that many bimmer owners are known to give!

I think Audi AND VW owners are some of the most loyal. Maybe we know how to handle all the quirks!
