Default Problem

I have a clicking sound coming from what sounds to be the rear left. My brakes/rotors are shot(at 5% on brakes a month ago), but I dont think its that. What else could this be, sound like a clink clink clink, or pinging sound, you can hear it while driving in the city, and whenever the car is along a linear object.

Default might be the spring clip on the backing plates

hitting the rotors. That will happen if you wear the pads down to nothing. Or the spring clip might have fallen out completely, leaving the pad to rattle.

Default might be

Without sticking my head in your wheel well (something YOU should be doing I might add), it's a little hard for me to say if it's safe or not. I just threw ONE possibility out there.
