Problem after installing one piece headlight housings.

After installing the one piece headlights and using the old "round" style wire harness (i just cut out where the rectangular plug goes so that the round one fits), my high beam indicator on the guage cluster stays on when I turn my low beams on.
If I pull the light stalk as to flash someone with the high beams, the little high beam indicator on the guage cluster lights up even brighter but the high beams don't come on.
This makes me wonder if I switched the wire harnesses for the bulbs inside. For those of you that know, I think the brown and yellow wire go to the low beam bulb in the old two piece headlights right? Well I basically just transfered it over, but now I have no highs.
IIRC high beam bulbs are supposed to be 80W and don't have the restrictor cap on the end right? Low beams are 55W right?
Anyone have any suggestions?
TIA

all H7 bulbs are 55w both high and low.
highs have different parabolic reflectors to aim the light in a longer beam... low beams are meant to be dispersed wide shorter patterns... fogs are vastly dispersed with minimal range.
brown = ground -
white = high beam +
black = fog +
yellow = low beam +
make sure you have everthing wired correctly on both sides. I dunno what else to say unless I see the setup first hand.

Yes you are right, all the bulbs are 55W I made a mistake.
But I do have the wiring correct, the yellow/brown is going to low and white/brown are going to high. I removed the black plug for the old integrated fog light.
Do you think the high beam light indicator would stay on if I accidentally (pretty sure I didn't) put a high beam bulb in the low beam socket? Is the car smart enough to know the difference since the wattages are the same?
I will try to post a pic of the wire harness setup tomorrow.

I didn't know that the light stays on when the bulbs are burned out. The high beam bulbs were already in there when I got the housings and I just assumed that they worked. I'm going to try to change it tomorrow.
Thanks!
Thanks!
