Default problem with my foglights/turn signals

I've noticed lately, that my foglights will turn off when I am driving, for no apparent reason. I couldn't figure out when, or why they would turn off. this is only when the headlights are on, and I have pushed the foglight switch. but today, I realised when it happens. everyone once in a while, when I put on my turn signal, the foglights turn off. the green indicator light turns off as well. I tested this many times as I was sitting in my backlane today. it happened about 1 in 4 times.

if I just lightly push my turn signal, like when changing lanes, and you don't need to fully engage the signal, it happens. I did not test it to see if when I engage the turn signal fully, if the lfogs go out as well

does anyone have any clue what this might be? I don't want to take my car to the dealer again for something I can fix at home.

Thanks!!!

Steve

Sounds like a problem with an electrical connection of some sort.

Could this be a fuse problem?

Sorry...I wish I knew more. Smarter people are sure to respond.

Default Well...the fogs are supposed to automatically cut out when the Highs are turned on....

If i were you, i would just do the fog light mod below...to make your fog lights independent from everything else...meaning you can turn them on even without the safety or headlights on. Its a cool mod anyway...looks nice and not that hard to do.

from the TECH section of audiworld.com

Default I am in canada, and the fogs are my DRLs. they are always on

when I turn on the headlights, I have to re-enable the foglights so that they turn on. but when I use the signal, they go off once in a while
