problem with oil..no leak but burns off fast

I have a 99 audi a4 1.8t. I have been having a problem with oil. I need 1 quart about every 800 miles which is more then I ever needed. The car has 99,000 miles and I have had regular oil changes every 3,500 miles. There is no leak..so where is all the oil going? Can someone help?

do you have a BOV or Intake

it causes the car to run rich and may burn oil faster. if you dont have either of them, then i dont know what to say, good luck though

check the valves in the pcv system.

That is a lot of oil. Are you

sure you are not leaking? Put some cardboard under the car and check.

Are you blowing any smoke?

Hey I have 99 A4 2.8 Quattro, and I'm burning a quart per 1000 miles... Haven't figured it out yet. Let me know if you find anything, I'll do the same.
