Mine did that. Had to replace the housing. Not a fun job.

Default Have to remove the trunk lining, lock actuator and cyclinder, two bolts that hold

the trunk lid handle on, and then two screws that have most likely rusted into the light housing making you cut them out.

Not fun.

Default Interesting. That's helpful, thanks for that. What was causing your lights to fail?

Did you have lights out on both sides?

Default Old and tired. Left side had a mount screw retainer mount so it didn't seal all the way

contacts corroded, and failed.

They're cheap enough to replace though.
