Problem solved for missing cruise control, sort of... (question)
After posting and finally finding info on why the cruise control had disappeared on my new chipped ECU, I found the number that I am supposed to soft code into the engine module. As I was experimenting last night when returning the old ECU to the car for service, I found the code that the old ECU is quite different from the one given on AW. I found the code 16463 on AW. But the engine code on the old ECU is 16201. Am I looking at the right area for recoding? The chipped ECU's code was 16001.

You really should do better research before changing the ECM cold like you did. Here's the answers
to activate cruise control
Select -> 01-Engine -> Login -> 11463 -> Do It!
Get the ECM number and the workshop code BEFORE you change out your original ECM.
Replace the defaults with your numbers and enjoy!

I did not notice this gone till recently.
I had too much fun with the chip in the new ECU.
I was expectiing the new ECU to have the same features as the old. Guess I know now.
Thanks for the info!!
