Default Problems with ATE super blue? <- Tom@ECS

I was reading some searches today and came across some posts regarding problems with super blue and squeaking clutches/seal damage? Is this something people are familiar with. It seems all the posts are from last year. Nothing recent.

Anyone have any insight. I've got super blue coming from ECS and now I'm scared to use it!

Thanks for the help.

Default No recent posts because people have stopped using it.

There are a small number of people that have used it with success, but enough have had problems that people here tend to shy away from it.

No personal experience with the stuff myself...I'm one of the one's that has been scared away from SuperBlue.

Default Based on the reports...just get something else to be safe.

Not worth the hassle for a $12 bottle of fluid.

Default yes, I would not use it. I used it a long time ago based on a recommendation from someone who sho

should've known better.. by clutch starting..not squeaking but grinding!!! and nasty sounds I removed the fluid and now have motul 600..I had to bleed the clutch serveral times to remove all the blue...and the problem still pops up every few months... DONT USE IT ...some people dont experence a problem but wwhy risk it when so many other quality fluids exist.

Default I believe you guys, but we have used it for over 10 years & on...

100's of cars without a single incindent what-so-ever. If fact it is the most popular brake fluid we sell, except for the A4 market, I have yet to figure why it make the clutch pedal squeak on SOME A4's yet does not have any side effects on 100's of other german cars, particulary Audi & V/W

Default yup.... mine squeaks.

Flushed it once already... still have some lingering and causing the rubbing/squeaking. Hopefully at next service (scheduled brake flush) it'll be cleared up. want my 2 remaining liters? ;^)

Default My clutch pedal started squeaking shortly after having it installed and then abotu 6 months later...

...I started having issues with the clutch master cylinder. Pedal would stay stuck to the floor in hot weather. Running the A/C for a 5 minutes aimed at the floor vents + pulling the clutch pedal up by hand would fix the issue for that trip. But it would happen again the next hot day after the car sat in the sun all day. Finally had a new clutch master cylinder installed (prior to this I had the ATE SuperBlue flushed out) and the problem was solved.
