Probably a half-normal thing for higher mileage, but i'm having my gauge swing from empty to where my previous fuel level was about 3 or 4 times a day while i'm driving . I know it's probably a shorting or faulty sender unit, but has anyone else had this problem on their A4 ( or higher model ) ? I only have 189xxx KM on my car.

Yes, this is a reasonably common problem. A replacement Fuel Tank Sending Unit sounds like what you need. We carry them if you'd like to order one. The swap isn't terrible, I'm pretty sure if you search "Fuel Tank Sending Unit" you can find the DIY here on Audiworld. Click here for a new sending unit.
