hi all, just got my street c/o's installed...but a) we set em too low - they rub all over the place, and more importantly/annoyingly b) the front end makes a strange clunking noise when i go over even the smallest of bumps, while the rear is quiet.
I searched the archives, and saw that this is a reoccuring prob, BUT H&R takes very good care of it's customers.
Does anyone have H&R's contact info? Preferably the phone number, so I can actually speak to a representative? Or can anyone give me some helpful advice with the funny noise up front (i did search the archives, but want a definite answer/solution to send to my mechanic)
thanks much you guys

I have to contact them also, early next week. For a blown shock on my h&r coilover.
I used to have a noise in the right rear, clunking. But it eventually turned out to be a blown shock. But the noise could also be the coil binding? Try raising them up, if they are too low..

Some springs kits come with plastic/rubber bushings that can be slid over the spring where the contact is occuring. A piece of rubber hose slit down the middle and slid over the spring and held in place with zip ties (no flames) will do the same thing

What's the point of coilovers if you can't slam it...many people specifically buy them to slam there car. My cars pretty low and I don't have any clunking sounds...

I had a clunk because the top of the rear shocks came loose where that bolt is. Had it tightened down and loctited and haven't heard it since.
