Default First, let me say that the pod you saw is a crude prototype made quickly for the NE Event....

We even ran out of matte black paint! The surface texture wasn't finished to standards either. Stay tuned for more.

Default Price will depend on mfg. cost...Let me work on that & I'll post estimates ASAP. Colors????......

That's another set of issues to be addressed soon.

What do you think about blasting? Would it work?

Default I discussed that with my fabrication tech and..................

If you sand or bead blast before painting the paint will fill most of the texture. Blasting after may work, but is not very predictable & may require additional finishing steps. These are some of the reasons that mfgrs use injection molded pre-colored plastics (textured by the mold).
