Default A6 parts list

Right mount 4B0 803 358A
Left Mount 4B0 803 357A
Center bar 4B1 805 645

Bolts for bar to end mounts N 902 218 03 M8 x 25 .... 4 ea.
Center bolt N 010 238 20 M8 x 15 .... 1 ea.

As I said above, bar needs to be cut and new holes bored for the end mounts

Default Near as I can tell ... you have to use a right angle drive. That is what I used as well but

a drive mounted in an electric drill motor. The main pita was shortening a bit so I could keep the bit at right angles to the plenum wall.

Default YGM...

I thought this oem strut bar didn't work with pre-face lift B5's due to the AC lines. Do you mind e-mailing or posting a few top pictures of the bracket on the passenger side? I want to compare AC lines

TIA

Default YGM..too...

I modified the RH bracket . Pictures in my pics of both ends. My DIY aluminum bar is taller and thicker then S4 bar . Its also more rigid , lighter and doesn't require the plenum hole due to these factors.

Default I'd tie it into the plenum. It doesn't take much load to flex even a .5 x 1.5 " bar when

the load comes from the two ends moving toward one another. The moment it flexs it will lose much of it's rigidity.
