PSA: If your glass installer tries to talk you into a Pilkington windshield
Don't do it! My four-month-old windshield is now just as pitted as the one they took out and it was original!

My original said Pilkington with the audi rings (along with the side glass and stuff)
My replacement says Pilkington, and I have had it for at least a year now, no problems. Stop tailgating

Huh, it's difficult to believe that this is the same as OEM glass.
Its kinda of a poor fit and I have never seen glass pit this badly this quickly. I don't tailgate, but we do have some wicked winds in Colorado and New Mexico that blow around a lot of sand, but still...

Well I bought the car at 27k, so it may have been replaced before, but I could swear about the rings
My friend who worked at the glass installer at the time installed it, and 1st thing he said was "Holy crap, this thing is the lightest windshield I have ever picked up!"
