Default put in my landspeed shifter plate this morning....

i like the look a lot, BUT, i am rather disappointed w/ its fitament. the cutout for the chrome shift surround isnt dead on, and since you are adding material (even if it is real thin) on top of the plastic, it doesnt sit flush once everything is put back together. i think these are things that only i will notice and its not horrible, but i dont know if it was really worth what it cost. sorry, no pics yet.

brett, or colin, do you guys know what i'm talking about as far as fitament goes?

Default Yep it's expensive...

The fitment is not great, as in the cutout for the shifter surround is not an exact fit...there will be a gap...the overall fit to the shape of the plastic cover depends on how firmly you mount it...I really pressed on it for a good half hour to make sure it fits the contour, basically until it bounded...overall I'm happy with it though...it sure ain't cheap though...

Default yeah. i was applying pressure to the points for about an hour last night....

and i ended up clamping it overnight to make sure the adhesive would stay.
my main problem is the curved part of it. it is stuck to the plastic just fine, but that part originally fits flush w/ your car. when you put on the plate, it sticks out because of the added material. thats the part that disappoints me because i can really notice it.

Default Yea,but the curved part ain't bad at all really..you get very used to it...no one would notice it...

What I was really dissapointed with was the cutout, I mean how hard is it to get a proper fit...
So when are you getting the S4 trim...
